Terms of Business

Carine Henry is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Paediatric Specialist, regulated by the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), Registration Code DT5478. 

For health insurance claims, please use the HCPC code. You may see Carine’s registration details here.

These Terms of Business are provided at the point of booking and outline both obligations and reasonable expectations in working together. Booking an appointment assumes acceptance of these terms. 

Thank you for your choosing to book a Paediatric Nutrition appointment. Should you wish to cancel or rebook your appointment, you may do so up to 48 hours before your appointment. A full refund will be issued to your payment method within 48 hours.  

Confidentiality is an obligation  towards respect and privacy of your personal information. All information, including digital records, will be kept in accordance with data protection and GDPR legislation. No information will be  shared without your express permission, eg. with your GP. Carine Henry is registered and compliant with the ICO Data Protection Legislation Registration No. ZA133818

As an independent professional, working solely with children, Carine commits to regular training in Level 3 Child Safeguarding. Occasionally, a child or young person may wish to share sensitive or troubling information, in which their health and/or wellbeing is considered to be at risk. As well as supporting health & wellbeing, Carine has a duty of care to offer further support with safeguarding professionals, if she considers a child’s health at significant risk of harm. This would always be discussed with the client. 

Appointments are scheduled to start and finish on time. This helps to ensure the timely running of the whole clinic. A short amount of time is available between scheduled appointments, to allow for some overlap, and Carine will make all efforts to stay within the allotted time for the appointment. Thank-you for arriving to the appointment on time. For late arrivals, we will aim to finish at the scheduled time.
